Does the course of true love ever run smoothly? In celeb world the short answer is NO! Another celeb couple have bitten the dust, Pop star Jamelia and footballer Darren Byfield are getting a divorce! and after only 18 months of marriage. They have a four-year-old daughter together Tiani and Jamelia also has an eight-year-old daughter Teja from a previous relationship. The split is said to amicable and naturally their priority is their two children. Shame really, thought they made a nice couple!
But anyway, on one of those rare TV moments which could only be put down to fate, destiny, karma or all of the above, Jamelia was happily minding her own business during her appearance on BBC2 Never Mind The Buzzcocks and along pops Maxwell D (formerly of Pay As You Go Cartel) who had previously sold a kiss and tell story on her to the News of The World. This TV clip classic is a must see!

So its beauty pageant season again and one pageant that keeps on getting better and better each year is Miss Black Britain which takes place on Saturday 14th November @ the Mermaid Theatre, London.
This year they have bagged the very talented and beautiful award winning American actress Ms Nia Long to host the show. Nia who started her career in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air has been voted one of the 50 most beautiful people in the world by People Magazine. This chick has also starred in films like Boyz N the Hood, Soul Food and Love Jones! Recently she has teamed up with comedian Chris Rock on a documentary film ‘Good Hair’ which explores the black hair industry
Nia’s co host will not be revealed just yet and is set to be a surprise on the night.
Miss Black Britain is now in its fourth year and the competition has produced some stunning past winners including

OMG! Rachel Christie is no longer Miss England in what seems to be one of the most bizarre curse of the ex girlfriend stories I have ever heard!
ALLEGEDLY Rachel (niece of Linford Christie) was at Mansion club in Manchester with her current love interest Tornado aka David McIntosh (from Gladiator on Sky 1)
and also in the club the current Miss Manchester, Sara Beverley Jones, who just happens be Tornado ex- girlfriend. (Ok so not a good start!) It is ALLEGED that Rachel and Sara argued over Tornado. It is then ALLEGED that Rachel then switched and hit Sara in her face (!!!WTF!!!), Rachel was arrested for assault and is currently released on bail. *blank stare*
Rachel Christie was the first ever black Miss England and she was due to represent England at Miss World in Johannesburg next month.A statement from Miss England organisation said “Due to the media attention following the allegations against her, Rachel Christie has now decided to withdraw from the Miss World competition and relinquish her Miss England crown…Rachel will concentrate on clearing her name and focus on training for the 2012 Olympics until this case is resolved.”
Did she give up the title willingly or was she forced to? The truth will come out….it just a matter of time but for now what do you think???

Rihanna the current princess of pop has finally decided to speak out about the ordeal she suffered earlier this year. She was attacked by her then boyfriend and fellow pop star Chris Brown who was found guilty and sentence to five years probation and community service. In a revealing interview on Good Morning America with Diane Sawyer, she speaks about the events that took place that night in a hope to discourage young girls to tolerate abusive relationships.

The highly anticipated Film ‘This is it’ of late undisputed King of Pop Michael Jackson, premiered across the globe. The film contains footage of Michael rehearsals of his ‘This is it’ tour which was due to take place this year in London. Carefully scheduled, 18 premieres took place around the world, London’s very own taking place at the Odeon cinema in the heart of Leicester square.
