The Film Premiere of Skin directed by Anthony Fabian took place in Odeon in Leicester Square, London. The film adapted from the biography ‘When I was White’ by Judith Stone follows the true story of a black child Sandra Laing born to white parents in apartheid South Africa. Earlier this year Skin won Jury and Audience Favourite at the Pan African Film and Arts Festival.
Alice Krige wore a chocolate floor left dress
Now I have to state this Sophie Okenado (who plays Sandra Laing) is a talented, beautiful academy award nominated actress whose work I respect. But I was left deeply confused and angry at the world when I saw her outfit!
I was left pondering how / who / why would someone do this or let someone do it to them. It reminded me of a nightie I had to do a double take to be sure
Love you Sophie but why????? I don’t know if I should laugh or cry!!!!
