The 15th anniversary of the National Television Awards 2009 (rescheduled from last year). The event took place in O2 hosted by Dermot O’Leary.
Guest included Cheryl Cole who wore a beautiful grey Stephane Rolland gown and looked fabulous
Tiana Benjamin (Chelsea Fox in Eastender) who looked hot in this body con number
Heidi Range looked cute in black who attended without her fellow Sugababes Jade Ewen and Amelle Berrabah (but with her boyfriend MTV and XFM Presenter Dave Berry)
Newly pregnant Dannii Minogue attended with partner Kris Smith and was glowing in a vintage prom dress. Love! Love! Love that dress!
Unfortunately not everyone looked their best. Katie Price aka Jordan and best mate Michelle Heaton stole the show for all the wrong reasons. Wondering who dressed them…maybe they dressed each other?!? Whatever the case the outcome was not good. It was too much, too busy and over done on Katie and Michelle I cannot find the words!
Katie is made of strong stuff as she continued to hold her head up despite being booed when clip of her from I’m a Celebrity was show during the ceremony
Jedward (twins John and Edward from X-factor) annoyingly preformed on the night their version of Under Pressure mixed with a strange rendition of ‘Ice Ice baby’ and surprise surprise Vanilla Ice joined them on stage (SMH)
These boys maybe sweet to some but lets be frank they cannot sing, they cannot dance and they cannot rap #FACT. However they are not going away as they have just been signed to Sony! *heavy sigh* If this is not a sign which reflects the current state of the UK music industry I don’t know what is.
If you missed that special performance here it is

But it is the National Television Awards (ITV) so there is bound to be some drama. The BBC is rumored to be considering launching an investigation with regards to Coronation Street (ITV) winning Most Popular Serial Drama over Eastenders (BBC). This is because of a montage which was played during the show which celebrated Coronation Street’s 50th year anniversary while audiences could still vote. It could be argued the montage could have influenced voters. Hmmm we’ll have to see if they take this further.
