The 1st ever Black Tie Comedy Awards took place in the Indigo 2 in the O2 arena. In plush surrounding with champagne, canapés, Sleek MakeUp goody bags and the funniest players in urban comedy; a little bit of history was made as there has never before been an event that has rewarded urban comedy in such a way.

ACLT Gift of Life Charity Ball

The Afro Caribbean Leukaemia Trust (ACLT) Gift of Life charity ball took place at Altitude 360 on the 29th floor of Millbank Tower in London. This sold out affair is not only the 10th anniversary of the event but also to be the final one. The ACLT also celebrated 13 years as an organisation and paid tribute the life of Daniel De-Gale (the son of the founders) who sadly passed away last year. Although there were no hosted tables there was no shortage of celebs out to show their support.
