So in no particular order heres the SS List for 2010…
So the first Annual Beffta Awards took place at the Hilton Metropole Hotel in London. In lush surroundings the Awards were hosted by Comedian Richard Blackwood and newcomer Miss London.
As it is was their first year there were quite a few hiccups but the audience appreciated the effort and all that came on staged vowed to and encouraged people to continue to support the event . This took the emphasis away from the few guest presenters and winner that came down with a sudden case of Kanye fever and felt the need to say exactly what was on their mind! tut -tut
Guests and Winners included ex X-Factor contestant Andy Abraham with his wife Denise
The current Miss England Rachel Christie who was right on trend with her sparkly little number
Celebrity DJ Longers
The UK queen of comedy Angie Le Mar as always was very very very funny!
Model Jasmia Robison who wore a Gavin Pierre Medford dress and won Best Female Model
Tiny body builder/actor presented the film section. Here he demonstrates his talents. He currently holds the title of Britain Biggest Biceps at a whopping 24 inches (I swear down that’s like a waist! To clarify his arm is equal to a person’s waist!!!!!!!!!!) Tiny also appears in new film Dead Man Running which stars 50 cent and Ashley Walter which is out October 30 http://www.deadmanrunning.com/
The talented Miss London who rocked a Georgie W Couture dress was chuffed when she won Best Comedian Newcomer
Media guru Sherry Dixon looked fabulous in a Gisella Couture red dress and presented the Newspaper and Magazine of year of which Flyer Newspaper won Best Community Newspaper!
and Flavour Magazine won Magazine of the Year which was picked up by Leonard Foster (Publisher) and Annika Allen (Editor) pictured.
Aspiring actor David Ajala won Best TV Actor
Best female designer was picked up by the fantastic mother and daughter duo Gisella Couture
Noella Coursaris who most will remember for being the face of Sleek won best international Model
Sola Oyebade Chief Executive of Mahogany group cleared up by winning best Event Promoter (Mahogany Productions), Best Modeling Agency (Mahogany Models) & Best Male Model (Ibukun Jegede)
At the end of it all Event organiser Pauline Long received an award from Richard and Miss London for her efforts.
